Sony SLV-799HF Review: Sony SLV-779HF Hi-Fi VHS VCR. I have had this VCR for several months now and have enjoyed it since the day I bought it and hooked it up. The sound and picture quality are excellent. After a few months of moderate use (weekend movies, etc.), the power supply started acting up. The VCR has continuously reset itself while in use (losing channel information, clock settings, etc.) then locks up (needing to be unplugged to reset).
