Sony RM-V701 Review: Sony RM-V701 8-in-1 Universal Audio/Video Remote. Even though the documentation says it works with items such as CD players , power amplifiers, and the like, it did not work on any of my very standard audio equipment. It worked on the video side including both VCRs, TV, and digital cable box. My guess is that it might be just a video remote even though it has an audio select switch and audio documentation.
